This makes it the ideal option for your trip and these are some of the European super-clubs you should consider trying.

 

Thekla – Bristol

If you want a great destination for your celebrations, but a trip to Europe is a bit beyond your budget, why not consider hitting Bristol to check out Thekla. This is a club within a converted former cargo ship that can hold 200 people and has won awards from the likes of the NME magazine. Playing host to famous DJs like Mercury Music Prize winner Roni Size, the dance music venue features design work by Banksy and other graffiti artists.

This obscure port location in Croatia is not exactly known as party central, but amongst the billionaire yacht owners, you will find some superb clubs – notably The Garden. One of the best clubs to visit if you are hitting Ibiza is Space, which has picked up an impressive 21 awards for its quality. This is definitely a rave venue, boasting both alfresco and indoor stages for dancing and offering a who’s-who of the best DJs in the world. The time to go is during the sweltering summer, as it’s only open during the peak season.

 

Nordstern – Basel

This Swiss city is another place which isn’t really known as a home of partying and clubbing, but it is actually a great place to hold a weekend away. The best club to hit is Nordstern, where deep house music is the order of the day. Located between the Novartis Campus and Voltaplatz, it has been around since 2000 and used to be an electricity plant. Among the famous names to DJ there are Ellen Alien and the legendary Carl Craig.

 The place to go in this Danish city is Culture Box, which offers a mix of techno, drum ‘n’ bass and electro, as well as an hour of all-you-can-drink Heineken from 11 pm (perfect for a stag night!). Laurent Garnier and Richie Hawtin are among the top DJs who have played there, so you are guaranteed a quality line-up.
