With it being my first time in Mexico and all, I couldn’t complain when I was welcomed with this incredible view at the Grad Sirenis Mayan Beach Hotel & Spa.
I wandered around the property until I found the perfect spot to sit among the rocky outcrops on the edge of the surf. For over an hour I listened to the waves crashing below me, felt the hot breeze on my skin and watched small colourful crabs dance around the glassy tidal pools. It was one of my favourite moments in Mexico.
It wasn’t like a typical resort, there was something about it that felt unexplored. I questioned whether or not I was even allowed to climb up onto the rocks, as it was a slightly difficult task (especially in flip flops), and no one else was up there. It felt good to venture away from the beach-goers and make a little escapade of my own.
Here are some photos that will show just how spectacular this little piece of paradise really is.

I’d be torn wanting to spend all my time on that room or the beach! They both look amazing!
