There is a beautiful Greek Island called Lesvos, and it lies South-West of Istanbul and North-West of Izmir; in the Agean Sea. It is the third-largest of the Greek islands, yet lesser known than its popular brothers to the South. Lesvos is beautiful at all times of the year, and home to many peaceful, seaside communities that thrive off of fishing and agriculture. From the sea, the island appears to be a large olive grove speckled with white-washed houses under once orange roofs, paled by the strong Greek sun. Mountainous on the interior, and rocky on the shores, it’s not hard to imagine the island as an ancient Greek fortress. A lot can be said about this beautiful island, but the pictures, that I touched up with this photo editor, can speak for themselves.
About Seattle Dredge
Seattle is Lake Erie born, Lake Ontario educated, and is now living on Lake Huron. And no, she's never been to Seattle. After studying geology in Toronto, Seattle spent several years travelling the world on a full time basis, from Colombia, Morocco & Iceland, to Nicaragua, Jordan & the Philippines--and just about everywhere in between. Eventually, Seattle settled in Southampton, ON, and now spends her days going on local adventures, while continuing to pursue photography & videography around the Bruce Peninsula, and of course regular trips abroad.

Lesvos sounds absolutely enchanting! Its scenic blend of olive groves, white-washed houses with sun-bleached orange roofs, and the dramatic landscapes of mountains and rocky shores evoke a timeless, tranquil beauty. It’s wonderful that you’ve captured and enhanced photos of this picturesque island. If you’re thinking of sharing these images or perhaps even creating a collection, they would undoubtedly showcase the unique charm and serene environment of Lesvos, offering a glimpse into its lesser-known yet rich character.
