Tel Aviv’s largest and most famous market can be loud, hot, crowded and overwhelming. Regardless of this, Ha’Carmel was one of my favourite places in the city.
You will find everything you wanted and things that you didn’t even know you needed.
The market, or Shuk, begins at the intersection between Allenby St. and Nachalat Binyamin St. and runs along Carmel Street toward the Sea, becoming more and more colourful with each step into the market.
Here are photos of every shade in the Shuk:
The market is open Sunday to Thursday from 8am until dark
and on Friday from 8am to 2pm.
